Specialist in early neurobiological and social development, researcher, psychotherapist, teacher, trainer.
Petra Winnette completed a master’s degree at the Faculty of Education at Charles University in Prague. She studied developmental psychology at University College Cork in Ireland. She graduated from Charles University with a Doctorate in Comparative Science. She was a Fulbright scholar at the Department of Psychology in the Affective Developmental Neuroscience Lab at Columbia University in New York 2017-2018.
Petra’s work focuses on neurobiological and social development in relation to behavior. She is interested in how childhood experiences influence brain development and behavior throughout the life span.
Petra regularly presents at international conferences and has published several books.

PBSP

Petra is an experienced psychotherapist in PBSP, she works with groups and individual clients in Czech and English. She also uses PBSP with young people and adults with severe ACEs (adverse childhood experiences) and with parents as an adjunct to family therapy.
Petra Winnette completed 800 hours of direct training with Albert Pesso in the USA from 2005 to 2016.
She was certified as a psychotherapist in Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor psychotherapy by Albert Pesso and Lovijs Perquin (PBSP Institute) in 2010.

7th International PBSP Conference, Prague 2019
Petra Winnette together with Jan Sirinek planned the 7th International PBSP Conference in Prague in 2019. Petra served as a scientific advisor and collaborated closely on the content and design of the conference. She presented one of the plenary lectures: The Structure of Memory and the Memory of a PBSP Structure.
