What is Natama?

Natama is an Institute for Family Care Development. Natama was established in 2003 with support from a private corporation- TV Nova. Natama provides quality professional and specialized services for children who suffer from early developmental trauma and for their caregivers. Caregivers include adoptive and foster families as well as grandparents and other relatives who take care of children with a difficult history. We also work with biological parents and their children. Natama specializes in issues related to attachment and promotes healthy relationships between children and their parents or caregivers. Natama uses treatment methods based on current neurobiological and developmental science.

Natama is licensed by the state to provide childcare and social services.

Our funding is provided by state grants, foundations and gifts from sponsors.

We provide services in Czech and English.
